Data protection patterns go 3D.

April – May 2013
Exhibition venue:
EIGEN+ART Lab, Berlin

From the collection of data-protection patterns by Jürgen Mayer H., individual patterns were selected and transposed to 3D structures. In so doing, these patterns remain recognizable in their original form when seen from the front. In the depth of the structure, as visible from the side, these patterns were interpreted in a spatial way. This allows for a new structure as a form of spatial research. The Data Cubes were designed using 3D software and then produced using a 3D printer.
