BOOMSPDESIGN: The International Forum on Architecture, Design and Art is one of the HUBs at Designweek Sao Paulo, the largest urban design festival in Latin America. The highlight in 2020 is Jürgen Mayer H. / J. MAYER H. and Partners, honored Designer of the Year 2020.
As part of the BOOMSPDESIGN 2020 celebrations during Design Week São Paulo, J. MAYER H. has developed a luscious furniture collection for VERMEIL using the company’s creative processes, combining the unique beauty of Brazilian woods, the sophistication of construction systems and finishes.
The FAMILIAR collection for Vermeil, curated by Beto Cocenza presents a family of 16 puzzle like stools divided into four series: MARIAH JOSEH / JOSEH MARIAH 1- 4. The ALEH chair, the side table HELENAH and the EDUH bookcase complete the product family. The pieces are structured in naval plywood and laminated with Brazilian woods including Imbuia, Freijó and Jequitibá along with “lava” (lacquer).
