Project:
Waterfront center
Year:
2011
Location:
Belgrade, Serbia

Beton Hala Waterfront Center will become a center for innovation and inspiration. It continues Kalemegdan Park and connects Belgrade Fortress with the Sava River. Open areas in this new urban space will accommodate cultural, commercial, and leisure uses while the layout of the buildings opens outwards to the surrounding context, seamlessly integrating nature and buildings. Sustainability parameters guide the landscaping and management, as the site’s ventilation, rain water management, natural light and green landscaping are important factors for the local climate. Beton Hala Waterfront Center will be a new landmark for Belgrade.
