The international design contest for the former concrete factory in Munich’s Obersendling has been concluded. In the so-called Sugar Valley, we designed a hub for socio-cultural interaction on the central plot.

Salvis Consulting AG is developing a modern work and living environment in Munich, Obersendling, where architecture and outdoor spaces, sustainability, mobility, digitalization, mixed-use, and new work concepts are interconnected. The goal of the flagship project, “Sugar Valley” is to become one of Germany’s most sustainable districts, with an energy concept based solely on natural resources and causing no additional CO2 emissions during construction or operation. It relies exclusively on renewable energy sources.
Our design offers s a unique DNA for the entire district with culture, gastronomy, events, and communal areas and the integration of active artistic elements. The first phase of construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.
